Head of Customer Relations

In 2021, Gemma was rewarded the position of Head of Customer Relations at Tailored Financial Planning Ltd.  

 She has spent seven years in the financial industry, with some prior experience in bookkeeping and accountancy. Her passion for the industry has drove her too many pursuits that have been key in her career’s development. Gemma has found herself enjoying the past five years in maintaining customer relationships and gaining experience in para-planning from our advisers. All her experience has come from a varying degree of backgrounds and advice needs, from mortgages, pensions, investments, and protection.  

In her time at Tailored, she was awarded Apprentice of the Year at the local business awards; successfully completing her diploma in Advanced Level Administration for Mortgage and/or Financial Planning Intermediaries for the Financial Service and Accountancy Sector. One of her greatest achievements is achieving her Insurance and Protection examinations, and is currently in the process of completing her Mortgage Advice qualification. She plans to further develop her understanding of the financial sector once that is completed, and perhaps upgrade to more advanced roles in the future. 

 In her spare time Gemma likes to focus on creative artsy crafts; such as candle-making, painting and fiction writing. Like many, she has a bucket list which she is hoping to complete one day and in the next five years hopes to visit Paris, Hawaii, Iceland, swim with sharks and take on a marine biology course. In the meantime, Gemma always looks forward to meeting new people and learning from her colleagues.
